Infusion Accounting Software 2025 Q1R3 Release: New Features, Shopify Integration & More!

We are pleased to announce that we have released the much-anticipated 2025 Q1R3 release to all our users. This is the biggest release of 2025 so far, with a couple of major features that we know you’ve been looking forward to!

Pricebooks can now be used in transactions

When we introduced the first elements of Pricebooks in Infusion back in October 2024, it was only a part of a greater whole. With this release, we have unlocked the full power of Pricebooks within Infusion.

Included in this release is the ability to include Pricebooks in transactions. We’ve added a new dropdown menu in quotes, invoices, and purchase orders, allowing you to select any loaded Pricebook and choose items within it for use in the transaction.

As part of this, any products in the Pricebook that haven’t been linked to a corresponding product in Infusion will be created when the transaction is saved or posted. Take a look at our help article for all the details!

Shopify integration is now available

In addition to WooCommerce, users can now integrate their Shopify webstore into Infusion. This gives you more flexibility in choosing your E-Commerce solution. With this integration, sales made in Shopify will synchronize back to Infusion, ensuring you can track all the details of sales and customers in one place.

Bank Deposit payment method filter

If you regularly prepare bank deposits, you know how frustrating it can be to find all the same payment types in the list of customer payments, cash takings, and other sources of funds that need to be banked. We’ve made this much easier by introducing a filter for preparing bank deposits, allowing you to filter by a specific payment type.

For even more convenience, if the filter is changed to a different payment type, any transactions that had been selected will remain ticked.

Costs on serial numbers

We’ve added the ability to track individual costs on serial numbers, allowing the specific costs of each serial number to be captured and reflected in transactions. If you prefer not to use this feature, it can be disabled in Product Settings under Track Costs by serial number.

Total/summary lines on invoices from jobs

To make things easier for your customers, invoices created from jobs will now consolidate lines if the same code is used. This results in a one-line summary of multiple lines with the same code, making invoices cleaner and easier to understand. If you need to see the individual lines, simply click the amount to view them.

How to upgrade to the latest release

You don’t have to do anything beyond ensuring that all users log out of Infusion. Once everyone is logged out, Infusion will automatically upgrade overnight.
